Due to my boyfriends' daughter getting sick and getting covid and me being pregnant and at high risk, I spend a week at my parents' place trying not to get sick.
It was two weeks ago. And it was an emotional week. I missed my family. I missed being not able to take care of Malouke when she had a fever, was miserable. I felt not being there for Ward who had to work and take care of her at the same time.
I know I cannot complain, there are families who have it worse. But still. I missed being together.
That's what my story is about.

Yeah, we're all fine now and we're back together since last weekend. Nobody else got infected. Malouke had a fever for a few days, her throat hurt a little and she had a little cough. Luckily nothing serious.
Both Ward and I got tested multiple times and we always tested negative. My parents got tested as well before I went over to their house. They both tested negative as well.
So after Malouke got out of quarantine, I went back home. But it was sad though, also fer her.
But then I think of Sherly and her family. And then I feel that I am complaining.

You have every right to have missed them and feel sad about it. You can't compare your situation to others. You are still a person with feelings.

I love the moodiness of this and the delicate clustering and colors. I am glad you didn't get sick, nor Ward! Our burdens are ours alone and we can't compare to others, they still hurt and are still heavy at times. So no shame over feeling sad you were banished of sorts haha. Love your page!

Aww man that is terribly inconvenient. I am glad everyone is well now but I'm sure that wasn't a fun time apart. This page is beautifully designed.
