So sorry to read you've been so miserable. I hope someone can find out what is wrong and give you proper advice and medicine.
I love how you scrapped the story though. What a great jornal page. I love the page design design and all the layers and details as well. And that big title is just perfect.

Wow, I hope you've been given some answers and get things sorted out! As for the page, you've scrapped your misery quite beautifully! I like how you've used the card and word art with your photo, and the huge title across the bottom is perfect.

I'm so sorry you are going through such a rough patch and that you're feeling so miserable. I do hope you can finally get a proper diagnosis and that you can begin to feel normal again. I like your black and white photo and the large title and your journaling. Great page!

For your sake, I hope a definite diagnosis is given that is accurate and treatable. You've been dealing with this for FAR TOO LONG! My husband literally became allergic to wheat OVERNIGHT! The irony is that his family runs a wheat farm! Now, he went on to be a teacher but he sure was miserable as every ounce of skin broke out in hives. That was in 2000 - before ANY gluten free products were even available on shelves. Even the GF ingredients to make your own were scarce and information about it was really hard to find. I had to relearn how to cook! It made the difference for him. He had to be completely off of wheat, dairy, barley and rye for a long time for his gut to heal. Just know that gluten hides by MANY names on labels!! One that seems to be in everything is "Modified Food Starch". Your layout is very striking and well done! I pray that 2022 will be a life-changing year for you - that you will get the answers you are looking for and will begin the healing process!! xoxo =)

Ugh gluten! I can't have gluten either--makes me so sick and itchy. I haven't been tested for celiac, since my doc said I already know I should avoid gluten if it makes me feel badly. And then my dermatologist told me just last month that she thinks I have psoriatic arthritis, which actually does check most boxes for my symptoms! I hope you can find some answers and feel better soon! Anyway, I love the bold, bright colors here and the crisp layers and shadows. Gorgeous page about an unhappy subject!

So sorry to hear of all of your stomach troubles. I can relate as I've suffered with stomach issues my whole life. Hope they can tell you soon as possible what it is for sure.

Thanks all, its been a rough ride thats for sure.
My current doctor has been amazing so its certainly not a case of needing to change doctors or anything. When I had my major stomach surgery in 2003, there wasn't the wrap around support in place that there is now nor the information about the link to certain intolerances so I kind of fell through the gaps in a way.
An update though: I'm currently awaiting the results of the blood tests, they've been delayed due to two long weekends in a row here which I was warned about. Unfortunately staying on gluten past the blood tests was not an option as even just one slice of low carb bread was causing me issues (I was mostly gluten free by ingredient the past two or so weeks as a bit of a trial to see how I felt but keeping either toast for breakfast or a sandwich for lunch using the low carb bread). I feel much better off it and my doctor supports me taking the same approach as I did with lactose (I'm not officially diagnosed as intolerant by medical professionals but I feel better without large quantities of lactose) and the worst of my symptoms has cleared up which is good. So I may not be officially gluten intolerant or celiac but I have decided its best for me to be gluten free given the way I've felt on more than one occasion now - explosive liquid diarrhea happening while sleeping, rock hard uncomfortable stomach and gas as well just to name the worst of what I have dealt with over the past 6-8 weeks. If I keep having gluten, I won't be able to go anywhere or lead a "normal" life which has been a major issue the past while and given I've just had two job interviews time is also of the essence to figure out a solution and what my new "normal" way of eating looks like
