You were so uncomfortable in your own skin, that sometimes being in the house or classroom was impossible. Your mind was busy all the time, restless and unhappy. You were struggling through your diagnoses and dreading your life feeling as you did. You could not see that you would ever feel better, that the doctors could stop the pain, dizziness and worries. Unfortunately you saw a couple of doctors who didn't know how to help and you could feel their frustration as dismissive. We eventually found those heroes who took the time to find a way out. You grew from the experience in ways we never dreamed at the time. Every minute was a struggle and team effort, but it was just one lost year that taught you how strong you really are and led to an appreciation and compassion directing your joy!

The journal is too small for me to read, but I can feel the emotions. I love the photos and how you used the kit and template. All the layers and details are just stunning.

Beautiful, expressive page even if it was a dark period. Love the painted edges and all the blending. Terrific job on this!

Love how you journal the good and bad and document all the memories as they are part of who we are. Love how you all found great doctors that took the time to help! Glad she is in a better place!

Krista, this is just stunning! Thank you for adding the journaling so I can read it. These pictures are just amazing and even if it's a sad moment, there's kind of poetry in these pics and how you scrap it with these perfect colors and the word arts. I love the play with texture and blending papers, really beautiful! You scrap this difficult time of your daughter's life (and of course yours as if our kids are feeling bad we do too) but you did it so beautifully! Hope it helps you and bring you some scrap therapy in the same time.
