To tell the whole story would be very long, so I ll try make it as simple as possible. It isn;'t so much about a lucky object, but one that keeps bad luck away.... I fought my mum's superstitious mind in my teens and 20s, but there is no escape : we turn into our mothers. Not that that is a problem, if I can be even half of the woman my mum is, I would be happy...but...our family came from the Middle East, spread through Europe, the USA and South America. They fear the "evil eye" which is what they call people who are jealous of you and may not wish you too well. Everything that has an eye wards off the evil eye. Now... I don't believe in witchcraft per se, but I believe there are some people, sometimes they even may wish you well, but, for whatever reason, their energy towards you can create situations that even the strongest of Faiths can struggle to deal with. The eye in the photo we bought in 2011 when we went to spend Easter in Turkey, it used to be in my car's read view mirror, now lives a little glass jam jar (that came from Egypt!) that holds all my Sakura and Uniball pens for drawing. There are also tons of little things that I consider lucky and bring joy to my heart: The Collmans powdered mustard tin was one of the very first thing my husband gave to me in the first few months we were together, the photo with Sarita was taken in 2019 when we went to Harry Potter's World. I always have a photo of us or together with my mum as my phone display, and always have a photo of Sarita close by, but having a photo off the 2 of us in a gorgeous day out is a reminder of why I keep fighting, and the blue frame glasses are the ones I use when I'm drawing, payed 99pence for them and they still are the best

So that 's more or less the story, and as Val has a gorgeous Lucky kit...!!!
