What an eye catching LO. Love the black and white with just pops of color and the text flow around the photo. Also thanks for the link to that article. Loved looking at the samples.

Oh, I love this! He is definitely the focal point of this layout and what a journey he has been and still is on! I wish him the best of luck with teaching! My husband and I are both secondary teachers and it is one very personally rewarding career!

They probably wouldn't have sanctioned you to have kept those tiny elements for the journal type layout.

This is awesome! I love your journaling following the curves of the extracted photo. It's perfection!

What a stunning page! I just love everything about it, but mostly that you're able to keep the embellishments to a minimum and tell your story so eloquently. Sounds like you're raising a pretty incredible young man!
