What a really great idea! I don't think I would have thought to do that! Hopefully the housing market is good for buyers. Our area has super duper (duper) low inventory at the moment. Good luck finding something.

This is wonderful Krista! I love how you have documented the process, so prettily in this page. My parents did roughly the same for me when I went to uni and had some accommodation issues and I will be forever grateful, so I hope they appreciate how lucky they are x
