Things were starting to look bad because he was losing a lot of weight, too much to be good for him since he was so small when he was born. It had to turn around and he had to start gaining weight if we wanted to go home on the fifth day. And yes, he gained 20 gram. It is not much, but it was a victory. Again, I love that striped background and soft feel of the whole things. The stars are a wonderful finishing touch!!

Oh how sweet he is!

Finn did the same as O. at birth, O was 2kg400 and then lost weight, he just couldn't feed himself without a tube because he couldn't breast or bottle feed.

He gained back is birth weight only more than 20 days after. It seemed forever at this time!
I'm so glad Finn takes weight faster and that you should come back home soon but I understand the stress you should have feel at this time Sweetie!

And yes 20 gram is a super victory!!!

And for sure you can be proud of your sweet baby!
Love this layout too! Is it going to face the other in your baby album?

@Emily: so sorry to read O was having trouble eating as well! But thankfully, it all turned out ok.

aww sweet baby! It is so hard when doctors are telling us these things, like we're failing with our babies. I'm glad he gained some weight in the end and you were able to go home.

I'm so happy that you were able to go home with Finn on the 5th day. 20 grams for a little baby to gain is great! Fabulous page and as always your clusters are amazing!

Love the 2-toned mint colour scheme for this page. Finn is looking so sweet in the photos. Sorry you had to wait until the 5th day to get him home. Your clusters are gorgeous!
