Journaling (translation made with DeepL)
[August 2006]: I've just moved into my new apartment in Bressuire because I've found a job at a secondary school. [September 2006 ]: I start my first school year as a teacher. [April 2007]: I meet the man who will become my children's father. It was love at first sight, and we never left each other's side. [September 2008 ]: I get pregnant. [January 2009 ]: We officially move in together and prepare for the baby's arrival. [May 2009]: Alexandre is born! [October 2010]: We're looking for a house as we want to expand the family. [December 2010]: We make our union official by signing a PACS. [March 2011]: We move into our house; we are homeowners. [February 2012]: I become pregnant for the second time. [October 2012]: Maximilien is born! [November 2012]: I discover a great activity: digital scrapbooking. [June 2016]: I decide to stop working in order to be available for Maximilien, who needs special help. [February 2017]: We get the word about Maximilien's need for attention: he's autistic. Following this announcement, I fall into a depression that I manage to hide from most of those around me. We began to fight so that Maximilien could continue to attend ordinary school. Scrapbooking helps me a lot in this period to externalize. [September 2019]: Alexandre starts secondary school a year early. [January 2020]: Maximilien and I are almost at the end of our tether, and school is very complicated. I start taking steps to continue schooling with the CNED. [March 2020]: It's COVID, everyone's confined; everyone's home-schooled. And that's what's going to allow us to resurface. [May 2020]: I'm enrolling Maximilien in a new school. In September, it'll be a fresh start. [September 2020]: My days are divided between Maximilien's needs and scrapbooking to keep up. [April 2023]: Maximilien leaves for a week in England, the first big separation. It's a difficult time, and that's when I realize that my anxieties are eating away at my life. I decided to get help. [July 2024]: My anxieties are still there, but I try not to hide them behind the needs of the children. I try to cope with them and I'm quite proud of myself for having managed to take part in this year's gymnastics gala.
