JOURNALING: A younger me wanted to go with my husband on a photographic safari to Kruger National Park in South Africa. Sadly, we never made it.
Elephants - have around 150,000 muscle units in their trunk. A group of elephants may be called a parade.
Giraffes - their spots are unique to each individual. A group of giraffes may be called a corps.
Lions - their roars can be heard from as far as five miles away. A group of lions may be called a pride.
Rhinoceroses - are born without horns which start growing after about 2 months. A group of rhinos may be called a crash.
Meerkats - belong to the mongoose family so are immune to some snakes' venom. A group of meerkats may be called a mob.
Beautifully done layout. Too bad you never got to go on "safari." Very interesting info. about the animals. "A mob of meerkats," WONDERFUL!!! Love that outline of the continent and the scenic image in it. Like the colors and the papers you did the journaling on, too. Thanks for taking the time to type in the information as it was a bit hard to read being so small.

So sorry you didn't make it to the safari with your husband. Fabulous layout and the mob of meerkats did make me chuckle. This is wonderful layout.
