You bet you did baby! All through 4th grade you begged me to let you shave your legs. At 10 years old!!! I said absolutely not, but you swore that every other girl in your class was shaving her
legs. So I started to ask around and found that many moms were letting their daughters shave. After discussing it with your father, I decided to go ahead and let you shave the summer before you
started Intermediate School. I showed you how to go about this great ritual (cough, cough, giggle,
giggle) of womanhood. We even talked about how to go about shaving slowly so that you wouldn’t cut yourself. But apparently we didn’t discuss this enough. After the second time you shaved your legs on your own, you came running down the stairs
in tears asking for help. You had no less than five
dandy cuts on your shins and calf. With a smile
and sympathy I bandaged you up. So yeah honey, you asked for it and you got it. You shaved your legs for this!
