Bullying has always existed, and it happens because children and young people do not always have the skills to function in a group. Research shows that 1 in 6 children will be bullied at some point. Every day, 1 in 30 students is bullied. 1 in 4 of bullied students does not tell anyone what is happening.
Bullying behavior is intentional and directed at one or more children. Those who bully want their target to feel hurt, humiliated, rejected, excluded... Because it often happens secretly, it is not always visible to teachers and parents.
The enthusiasm that was there last school year has disappeared. Every evening when I pick up my grandson from the bus I ask how it was and I can see from his body language, oh, it's not good, then I leave him alone, when he comes home, words seep out of his mouth that raise my eyebrows and sometimes nail me to the ground. He says that there are children who talk about his mother, with words that you would rather not hear from a 9-year-old child, F*ck, H**r, F**k Your Mother, I'm going to f***** you. Not normal, I get scared every time. Where do these children hear such vocabulary? We say that he must report this every time and not keep it to himself, that he must ignore these children, what is the best solution, we don't know. How do you deal with that?
It's terrible.
