Sorry I didn't clarify - It was my DD who journaled on our trip and she had broken her foot at graduation - thankfully just a hairline fracture, so she only wore the boot on travel days and just a support around the cities. She had 3 weeks between the fracture and our trip so it really didn't slow her down and we still walked 10 miles a day...
