I've been wanting to use this little house of Eva's for a long time... finally had a chance
This is the craziest time of the day! After dinner,
while I’m doing the dishes, the kids play a rousing game of
“Get dad off the couch.” I’m not sure how it started, but it’s
practically a ritual at this point. It involves John laying on the
couch and the kids trying as hard as they can to pull him off.
It can go on for a long time, or end abruptly because someone
gets hurt. It is loud and rowdy and clumsy and the kids just
LOVE it.

Oh my gosh, this is perfect! We have a similar game.... it's called "Beat the Daddy" and started before Dylan could even walk or talk (he is now 10) so you can see these games have real staying power.
