Well, this month we seemed to do a bunch of little things. At the beginning we went on a few walks around the city to check out some paved hikes. We ended up looking at master planned communities though, while Macy played in the local parks. We did a little shopping for some clothes and hit the bookstore and Best Buy a few times. We tried a few new meals (from a weight watchers cookbook and a kids food cookbook) and found a few good recipes to keep working on. The weather this month was pretty great, so we started working on the lawn. We bought a few drought flower plants and put them in the yard, We also bought a couple of hibiscus plants, since those are the only plants we can keep alive. Macy has been playing in the lawn more. We have played t-ball and ball a few times, but she seems to love watering the plants and digging in the dirt with daddy. Professionally, I presented my grant project on Bisbee to the district and the district sent in a few proposals to present at some national history conferences-hopefully I will get an acceptance in June. I booked my trip to Boston before Spring Break to attend a national social studies conference and have just been plugging away at school. Towards the end of the month, Chris’s company has been gearing up for spring training, so the last two weeks of February he wasn’t around much. It is tough when he isn’t around, and it starts to bum me out after awhile. We both started working out again-Chris has been more consistent then I have though. Both sets of parents are doing well. My parents are coming down in March for spring break, so we are hoping to go to Prescott for a 2 night vacation to do some local touristy stuff. Towards the end of the month, I started to get a big cold, and Chris and Macy soon became sick. So, we are all sick now.
