Journaling Reads:
Daddy swore you were a boy from the moment we found out we were pregnant, so we never really focused too much on girl’s names. Though I did pick out the name Faith Kathryn for a girl, I always had a feeling that you were a boy. We went through a few names like Talon, which Daddy liked, but I wasn’t too crazy about. We also thought about naming you after Daddy’s best friends Heath, Adam, or Jefferson, but we just couldn’t think of a
combination that we loved. I had always wanted
to name my son after my Dad if I had one, so
as we went through names, I always had Robert
in the back of my mind, but I knew I didn’t
want it as your first name because it is too common. We had also always kept Walker in
mind. It is your Daddy’s middle name and I have
always liked it. We felt it was a strong
name, and a rare one too. When I said it
together, Walker Robert, I knew that
was it. The names of the two most
special men in my life for my new
precious little man. A perfect fit.
