Sometimes I wonder if it is my fault you are the way you are. I wonder if I am too hard on you, or not hard enough? Am I too strict or not strict enough? Did I make the right decisions for your education or the wrong ones?
You are different. You’ve always been different and you probably always will be different. You aren’t like most little boys your age. You get frustrated so easily and you only like to be at home playing video games. You aren’t into sports or being outside. You don’t like hanging out with the few kids you consider “buddies.” You prefer to play alone at home. Home is your comfort zone and you would never leave the house if I didn’t make you. You are overly anxious about weather and school and all types of unneccesary fears and I believe the anxiety is what causes your outbursts and fits of anger. I know there’s something under there that I can help!
I don’t care what anyone else sees in you. I see a sweet, loving boy who longs to please others and wants to do what is right. I think you want to make people happy and you are disappointed in yourself when you can’t. I think you try really hard to be good, but to no avail. I will seek out the BEST doctors or psychiatrists or WHOEVER it takes to get you the help you need. I will not stop, I will not give up...
