We can't travel outside the country, but we are allowed to travel in Belgium. So we decided we needed a little getaway. First stop was Bokrijk, an open air museum with ancient houses and buildings. It gives us a glimps of how people used the live 100 and 200 years ago. I love the way you mixed color with black and white photos--it really works in this page about the past. When I come visit you in Belgium someday, we have to go here! I love the little tickets tucked in and the fun way you used the magnifying glass. Great page!

I really need to look-up this filter! I love it so much and you use it so well mixing and matching with the color photos. What a beautiful trip!

The mix of b/w photos and colour photos works so well here! Love the fact that you kept a consistent background for the pages from the open air museum. And love the cluster work, perfection - the tickets tucked in, the curved ribbon, and the circular element. Great page!

Sarah this is so pretty, and I love the mix of b&w and color. Your page is beautiful! I can't wait to come to Belgium. I've requesting time off beginning of June 2022... I'm hoping travel will be permitted by then for us to do the trip we planned for 2020.

You should really visit Bokrijk in Genk. And I'm happy to join you!
There's a train station nearby, it's only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station to the open air museum!
