My grandmother suffers from dementia and she didn't recognize me earlier this year (when I was still pregnant). But now, she recognized me right away. It made my heart sing. My grandfather got diagnosed with a tumor in his lungs a few weeks after Finn was born. Finn is second name is Marcel, after my grandfather. I want to take as much photos as I possibly can, before my grandparents are gone. So these photos mean a lot to me. You will treasure these photos forever!! I just lost my mom who had dementia last fall. It is such a horrible feeling when they look at you and don't know you anymore. I'm so glad you are making the effort now to capture these moments because you will NEVER regret that time!! Gorgeous pages!

So precious! I love that she recognized you and that they were able to meet sweet Finn. I love your shadows here and I always love double-pagers! This whole layout is brilliant.

The template is perfect for a big spread of photos, yet maintaining organization and peace. Lovely colors and clustering! Love the QR clip and how the pup isn't quite sure what to think of Finn
