I am having all of my DD"s freinds and family write something to her for her graduation book....this is one her the 1st firneds she made here after we came her from Sicily
her journaling:
When I first found out about a girl moving here from Italy, and that I was the first person to help her around, I was ecstatic. So as I waited for her arrival to our classroom, I finally saw her, and I was shocked to see she was just like us! Fifth grade was a magic filled year with her, and the beginning of a legacy of our dorky pair. I remember waking up early every morning to a phone call from her asking about the newspaper answers to our questions haha. I still have pictures from our fifth grade field trip to the Woodland park zoo, so much fun...Sixth grade we were pretty distant, but like good friends always do, we came back together and were tight as before. We've gone through gaming times, excitement, cleaning of rooms, photography sessions, tye-dying shirts, trampoline photo-shoots, and random adventures galore. My absolute favorite memory with her though is when she got to spend the night for a week straight and we had to duck tape our hands to protect them from the blacktop. I'm so really super uber mega omni happy I got to be the person who welcomed her to OH and our class, because I'm pretty sure I now have a friend for life, and one of the coolest out there. I love you Sam. :3
