catching up!
02.05: Went out with Sam today and did a little more coupon shopping! Got 3 sticks of deodorant for $0.47 each. Not bad! I spent more at JoAnn’s than anywhere else! Ran into Jaci and Christine there and was kinda nice to see a familiar face out and about! I also stopped at Home Depot and got some ceramic tiles to do a few little projects! We will see how they turn out!
02.06: Went out and took the movies back to Wal-Mart and stopped and grabbed a Sunday paper at Safeway! Need my coupons!
02.07: Long day….took Sam and Ben to the dentist. Ben has 10 more days of turning his spacer and then hopefully is done. Sam got 3 cavities filled instead of 1 but she is now DONE! Then we went and had lunch and tried to catch a movie, but were too late. So we walked around the mall and shopped a little. I found some cute tops and a dress at Macy’s and a couple of nice shirts for Sam & Ben in JCPenny. I also let Ben pick out a new book to read and he picked out the Warriors #1 book of the series. I got Sam a cute little ring she found in Claire’s. Then we FINALLY headed home. I organized all of my coupons in my binder and my back was KILLING me afterwards!
02.08: Went out again today! Went to Safeway and saved $35 today on soup/hotdogs and other groceries! Best deal was I got 8 cans of Campbell’s chunky soup for 50 cents a can and El Paso taco Shells for $.50 each! Then I headed to Wal-Greens and got some more great deals, but the best deal was a Gillette Fusion razor for $1.99! Then I headed to Target where my best deal was Vaseline Lotion for 69 cents! I got 3 of them! I also went to the mall and got Ben the #2 and #3 book in his series for his birthday~Stopped at the $1 store and got lots of decorations for Ben’s birthday tomorrow. Gonna put them up tonight after he goes to bed so he will see them when he gets up in the morning! I also picked up Beverly Hills Chichuca for Abby and Open Season 2 of DVD for the kids!
02.09: Ben woke up to the downstairs all decorated for his birthday. I wanted his day to start put GREAT! He said “Mom, when do you do all this?” I said “When you were asleep!”. Sam said I was a dork but as long as Ben loved it, it’s all good! I went out and picked up his cake and some more little decorations and 12 balloons! I also stopped and got some melatonin {herbal sleep aide} to see if that will help Peyton go to sleep at night. I also went back to Wal-Greens and got some great deals! 3 body washes, 2 lotions and 3 shampoos/conditioner and another Gillette razor for $19.00! Not bad when that comes to roughly $2.37 per item! I made hamburgers and hot dogs for Ben’s birthday and then we had cake! Ben couldn’t get his last present open, Little Big Planet 3, and it was so fun watching him trying to get it out of the bag! He finally got it out and we let him play! Abby and Sam had cake, but nobody else…
02.10: I went out today and found a twin headboard/footboard and frame for Peyton’s room for $7 at the thrift store! Then I scored some more deals at Wal-Greens and headed to Home Depot where I got some replacement bulbs for the kitchen and some stuff for the downstairs bath! I even picked up a little flower pot with some annuals to make the porch a little brighter
02.11: I went and ran a few errands today considering it will be my last day ALONE~Ben stayed home from school because he was still coughing pretty bad and had a bloody nose. I got quit a few good deals at Kohl’s since they were having a sale and I had a 20% off coupon~! I managed to get a couple of outfits for the kids for XMAS and I got Peyton a Toy Story LGM Tin full of puzzles and games for like $10 for his birthday! Then I went and picked up the bed frame from the thrift store after matt got home and scored 2 pair of shorts for Abby and a skirt for Sam for 75 cents! I also scored an old cassette holder for $1! I am going to store my stamp pads in it! Grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner tonight!
