Journaling:
I spend the majority of my time each day in front of you--either for work or play. I inherited you from Mark, who built you from scratch--from the motherboard to the graphics card to the casing to the amped-up RAM. Thank you very much for becoming an important tool in discovering my passion for digital scrapbooking. Thanks to you, I learned how to scrap, connected with many online friends, and continue to enjoy this hobby. Thank you for hanging in there despite the very heavy demands of Photoshop CS2, Lightroom 2, and a score of other programs and services that help me enjoy scrapping. While these days I've noticed you sputtering and hiccuping more, I'm still very happy to scrap with you. I love the extra-large monitor, the nine-year-old ergonomic keyboard (no one makes those anymore!) with its clacking keys that are so soothing, and the speakers with its dubious subwoofer capabilities--because they can still blast out my music. I know Mark & I have plans of eventually retiring you so I can get a more powerful machine, but I want you to know that you and I will always have a bond that's gone beyond the pages I've done. I love you. --LEX
