Truth be told, I could probably be diagnosed with OCD. I’m not a clean freak, I don’t have behaviors that I have to do over and over again, but I obsess a little too much. I buy more than I should. My weight is due to developing a a nasty habit. I can eat the same thing, and have for months, even a year at a time because I get in a pattern and it feels good and comfortable and I don’t want to change. If a pattern is interrupted by something, my whole day is off. I will come home cranky because I didn’t get to read at lunch. I avoid making meetings around this time because I know just how off it can make me. But my go to habit when I’m agitated or off is shopping. It’s why I don’t like to try a lot of new things because it can kick start a “new” habit. A good example...My Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I read the first book. It took me forever, but I read it and enjoyed it, so I bought the whole series. Have I read any others? No, because the books are like bricks and they take forever to read, but I had to have the whole series. I have an entire bookshelf of
