11.12: Oh my gosh was it drama this morning with Matt getting all the kids up and dressed! Abby had some issue with her socks, Ben had to HAVE a white shirt for today, Abby couldn’t find her other croc and everything else that could take them forever to get out of the house! I went to Ben’s school at 0800 to meet with his teacher, the counselor and one of the other teachers. They aren’t sure why Ben is melting down and sometimes just quit doing his work. She said he ISN’T disruptive to the class; he just doesn’t do his work. I was there over an hour talking to them, so we are gonna try a few different avenues and see if we can figure it out. Then I went and met up with Christy and chatted for a few….she brought me some stuff from Canada {coffee crisp, Ketchup potato chips and Kinder eggs} and the kids are LOVING the Ketchup chips! Saving the eggs for their stockings! Then I went back to Ben’s school for the veteran’s day celebration, ad it was really nice! Ben was glad I went too….Then I went to Comcast and turned in all of our cable boxes…basic cable only now is gonna save us almost $100 a month! Then I did some XMAS shopping at Old Navy and Kohl’s and it was CRAZY busy! Good thing I wasn’t gone too late ‘cause Ben forgot his key this morning and was outside playing!
11.13: We pretty much did nothing today. Sam stayed at Katie’s last night and is going Cosmic bowling tonight with Dacotah and then Dacotah is going to come spend the night with us. We did have PB&J {Abby and Peyton} and loaded baked potatoes} Mom and Ben} for breakfast today! Hey, as long as everybody eats something, right?
11.14: Sam ended up staying in Oak Harbor with Katie again. Nothing really going here except crappy whether!
11.15: Whether is TERRIBLE today! Left about 10 mins early from work and picked the kids up. Matt had a doctor’s appt at the Urologist in Mount Vernon and has to go back next Monday. I got a call from Ben’s school today and he opted for Level 4 but since I left my phone at home he had to spend the rest of the day in like the homework room. He can’t go back to school tomorrow until I go with him! I am suppose to get my retirement physical tomorrow, but I guess I will have to reschedule. The whether got really really bad and we lost our internet connection, but never lost any power. So we are setting the alarms on out phones in case the power goes out!
11.16: So got up and took Ben to school and after FINALLY getting out of him last night that the problem was one of the kids he was sitting with was giving him a hard time, he seemed to feel a lot better about telling his teacher. She had a really good chat with both of us and is going to move the little girl that is sitting near him giving him a hard time. She asked Ben who did he want to sit with him and he said “Guadalupe” so Mrs. Kerley is going to switch the kids around and I hope this will help Ben. She also said if he could a whole day without having any issues she would reward him and he could give her some ideas on what he would like to be rewarded with. So I guess we will see….
11.17: So I found out there might be a possibility a job opening might come open to my favor soon… So we will have to see! We stopped and got a few things at the Commissary and Matt picked up Assassins Creed 3 for the PS3! I let Abby and Peyton eat marshmallows on the way home and Matt said {as they were just acting OBNOXIOUS}…”It’s ALL your FAULT” {since I gave them the marshmallows}! I also forgot to add that I told Matt “I didn’t think there was any sugar in marshmallows! Actually, I have NO IDEA what marshmallows are made off!” So of course, I am NEVER going to live that down!
Got a note from Ben’s teacher today “Ben has made a 360 degree turn around. Mrs. Stiles says she noticed a huge difference as well. He raises his hand and asks for erasers and works with his team very well. He is sticking up for himself and seems very happy! Wow, let's hope this persona hangs around awhile!

11.18: We had our Thanksgiving potluck at work today! It was AWESOME! Got a great cold spaghetti salad recipe from Lisa that I am sure the kids will love. Just have to find the time to make it
