I like when Slovak singers sing in Slovak, even if they sing genres that are very untypical for our language. I've already made a compilation of Latino-sounding songs in Slovak (that was a hard one) and sometimes around that time I also got the idea of doing a compilation of R'n'B songs in Slovak. It should have been a summer CD and for some reason I kept postponing it for three or four years. This summer I decided to finally finish it, so here it is.
The banner is white/blue/red, because those are the colours of the Slovak flag.
The title is hard to translate - it's a reference to a 19th century work written by an important personality who was fighting for Slovak being recognised as a language. The title was something like "The Slovak Dialect or the Necessity of Writing in this Dialect", but using a transcription nobody uses anymore. So I made it into "R'n'B in Slovak and the Necessity to Sing in this Dialect".
