Journalling reads:
For as long as I can remember, I have kept a diary. When I was younger, it held my school girls crushes, a minute by minute account of my everyday. But as I grew older, I shared my dreams, my hopes for myself, my wishes for the future. Now, I am 28, and my diary contains the most intimate parts of my soul. It is not all sweetness & light, nor is it full of doom & gloom. It is my haven, a place to be myself, to show my true colours, warts & all. I do not have to censor with my diary, I can simply be. And even though it holds more than just the happy moments, I will cherish this outlet, this record of my life. I may never re-read it, I may not visit as often as I?d like, but my relationship with my diary is like that of an old friend. No matter how long we?re apart, when I open that book, it is as though I?m stepping back into a conversation, as though I had never even left.
