This was your first trip to Multnomah Falls. It’s our own little slice of
paradise here in the Pacific Northwest. No matter how many times I see it, it
continues to take my breath away. You were both in awe, your eyes glued
skyward. You had never seen anything like this before. Connor - you were
excited and wouldn’t slow down. You really wanted to go to the top, but we
had to pass this time until you and your brother are just a little older. Liam -
well, you don’t talk much, so you didn’t have much to say. You were smiling a lot,
so I took that as a good sign. I only wish that the weather had held out a
little longer so that we could go off and explore the old scenic highway - which
is peppered with many more smaller, but no less beautiful waterfalls. But the
weather did worsen, and we had to head home soon after arriving. But rest
assured, we’ll be back. This is too beautiful not to see every chance we can get!
