You were born with five freckles. It used to be a little game we did when you were small. We would count all five of your freckles, and then make sure to check and see if anymore popped up. For the longest time, no more freckles showed up. But then, out of nowhere, there was another one. Then another. And yep, you guessed it - even more showed up! Now your face is peppered with them. The first time they really showed up, I couldn’t stop kissing them. It would always make you giggle, which would only make me kiss you more. And what’s better - they don’t go away. Even in the winter time, I’m blessed to see those beautiful freckles - those wonderful little angel kisses!
