Who would have ever guessed that on a last minute visit to Whidbey Island WA in 1996, that 7 years later we would be stationed here and end up calling this our home. Dad & I joked about me being stationed here, but we figured the odds of a lab technician being stationed on a Naval Air Base were pretty slim to none. Well, when mom was up for orders in 2003, they offered her a chance to be stationed here and we took it! I absolutely LOVE this picture of you in the same exact spot 7 years later {even though the captain figure is different} it gives a great comparison into what a beautiful lady you have grown up to be!
