We thought about going into DC again this year since it had been 7 years and the boys didn’t remember when we went before. It was just too hot, though, and we decided to go to the local Manassas fireworks instead. We had a great time hanging out with some of the folks from church and watching the patriotic display. We had a great time and were glad that we stayed local this year.
