Since your first season playing baseball you?ve been interested in being catcher. You received your own catcher?s gear for your birthday a couple of years ago & you?ve worn it for 2 summers & 1 fall season. Unlike the other kids, you?ve never shied away from that ball coming at you or the bat flying back in your face. Other kids would get hit & cry & refuse to go back in, but not you. You are not only good at catching the ball & stopping the ball, you also seem to know just when to duck or move out of the way of the ball, bat, & runner! I love seeing you concentrate out there. You watch the ball carefully & throw off your protective helmet to see where it goes & to watch for it to come back in to you. Even the umpires & other coaches have congratulated & praised your skills.
