Inner peace is not something I think I have much off, if not none at all. I am constantly worried about things, wondering what needs to be done at home, if Peyton is going to make it through the day at school, if Sam is doing good in her classes without being nosey and having to ask, and just things in general. Before I started taking Ambien, I tossed and turned all night long cause I could never turn my mind off. I wonder if I am a good mom, where did I go wrong, what will they learn from me other than me always yelling at them to do their homework, their chores, behave, stop fighting, etc. I don’t want to be the mean mom, but I don’t think my kids realize how good they have it and that helping out is really not too much to ask. One day, they will be parents and hopefully understand. Maybe then I will have some inner peace.
