Wow, the quote is amazing. I read you're afraid of leaves -- don't be. Leaves make every page so beautiful, like here.
If I might just suggest a thing -- on the lower photo, see that tiny thing (probably the stem) that's getting in the way? You could select it and cut it...that's about it. The thing with leaves is to cluster and cut because they rarely fit right

I love your clustering! I'm not really good at clustering elements (especially florals) and I'm learning too. My fave go-to clusterer is Jacinda. I love her clusters. They look effortless.
