For the scraplift challenge. This was tough as I use the Artisan software for scrapping, and I typically use their light/heavy shadow defaults. As mush as I could, I tried to play with the custom shadow settings and make some of the elements pop more (I must have read her interview 5 times looking for tips). Nowhere close to Amie's pages, but I tried something new and will probably experiment some more with the settings.

I think you shadows are great here! Perfect kit choice for your fun photos!
 
I think you did great with popping things. If Artisan lets you separate your shadow you could use a soft edge brush on low opacity and erase a bit at the tips of shadows. OR repeat the elements on top of the shadowed one and then you can erase a bit of the shadowed one once it is rasterized in whatever way artisan lets you do that. This is a great fun page.
