We are not in the states and the system here is completely different, but the importance of voting and actions is something I am pleased to know my daughter always had the bravery to defend and protect her life when electing government is concerned, The photos are from 2010, when we had been slapped with a HUGE increase in fees for College and Universities in the UK, there was what was supposed to be a peaceful protest from the students and I was glad to say yes when she asked me if she could go, even more glad when she explained they decided to ask the policemen cordoning the streets for help to get out as soon as they saw some people turning the thing in the start of a violent way, and even lighting a couple of fires....the policemen helped them come home safe.
