jPA - In the end...

"...and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make..."

An old pic of my late hubby in front of Hard Rock Cafe before one of his performances. Obviously, after losing him, this shot became quite poignant. But his life was a prime example of this love to love ratio.

I created this for the Sweet 16 Birthday Challenge #8, "use a mega-collab" AND for the This or That Challenge #11a and b... Best or Worst Day...
We were married Valentine's Day, so definitely a best day. However, our last Valentine's Day together was spent during our last hospital visit when they were telling us it was time to stop the fight and to go home to enjoy our last days together in peace. We are more of a "celebrate me where I lived", rather than a "mourn me where I died" philosophy, but this 10 year anniversary of that last Valentine's Day together hits a little harder, so a worst day feeling as well.

Apropos, this was created using the "Forever" benefit collab for Ru. I hold her close in my thoughts and prayers these days, as she faces her own griefs and last times and all the first times after....
What a beautiful photo of your husband! You created such a stunning tribute page. The photo, the colors, the layers, the big guitar, the paint, the butterfly, the title... This is really sweet and precious, Patty!

Patty Anne, this is so gorgeous! I love how you talk about your late husband, such love and so much caring.

This is really beautiful and poignant. I'm sorry for your loss. You've created a lovely tribute page.

You have created such a wonderful tribute page! The effect of all your chosen elements and their placement with the wonderful photo exemplifies talent and love you both shared

I love so much about this - the big guitar and all the great paint and wordart. I'm very sorry for your loss, I'm glad you have the memories to scrap and I hope that brings you peace.

Oh wow. You have brought tears to my eyes with your writing.

The layout itself is stunning. I love your clustering and the deep shadows you used!

So beautiful. Love your gorgeous clusters and amazing photo and that amazing mural of one of my favorite songs.
