Grippe

This or That Challenges
3a - Journal directly on your photo

This page could sum up our month of April.
The children had gone to field trip for 4 days but I had to pick them up earlier because they had a fever.
It wasn't Covid, but the class was full of them...
In the end, they had a lot of fever and that same evening they were 40 degrees Celsius, they couldn't stand the light from the night light, they had aches head, throat. The ER thought it was meningitis and sent me to the pediatric ER.
They had a flu test and it was positive.
They told me they had it for a week and had to wait because it's a virus.
Four days later, we had to go back, my daughter had the onset of pneumonia, double ear infections, laryngitis and my son had ear infections and the onset of superinfection too. Then we had to see a doctor in town to give them a good treatment and me too because they gave it to me.
They stayed a week with a fever and in bed.
They are finally starting to get better. We are so relieved but we still feel tired so we hope it will get better soon!:)

Goodness that sounds like a lot! I hope you're all on the mend and feeling better very soon! Ps. I hate to say I love this page b/c the subject sucks! but I do love it for how it's scrapped! :) The medicine scatters are my favorite part!

Oh no, that sounds awful!!! Glad you're starting to feel better! You've scrapped an unfortunate illness beautifully, though! Love the checklist - that really sums up all the awfulness. The lungs are a perfect touch too. So many great themed elements on here!

Oh no Emily - That's terrible for you all. Poor kiddos and mama! I love your page. The medications and scatters are perfect and I love the colors. The photos definitely show the suffering well - the sparkles in the eyes are missing :( I'm glad you are feeling like you are getting better again.

Yikes! I'm glad they are turning a corner & feeling better! You scrapped this crazy time so beautifully & used the perfect supplies!

So sorry to read they had the flu! Hope you are all better now! I love how you scrapped the story though. I love the clusters and all the layers. And I love all the details.
Congratulations with your GSO. Totally deserved.

Hi sweetie!
I'm so sorry for not writing sooner. Life has been so crazy and busy.
Finn is a bad sleeper. He sleeps everywhere except at night and except in his own bad. I am exhausted!
But he is doing great. He is a great eater and he is starting to be aware of his surroundings.
I still have to find time to send you a little something. I have a box ready, just need to find time to fill it and take it to the post office!

How are you doing?
And the kids?
Hope you are all doing great.

Love all of you and still thinking about all of you.
Lots of love and hugs,
Sarah

Oh no, this sounds horrible. I hope that everyone has started to get better. haven't seen you around and was thinking of you and the kids.

Congratulations on the GSO! Thanks for playing my game :) Hope you are all doing better!!! Miss your pages

On ho, that sounds awful!! I'm so glad you are all over this by now. Congratulations on the GSO, well deserved! Love the fullness of the page, and the themed elements. Fantastic!
