JOURNALING: SYNOPSISof "The Gods of Comedy": Two young classics professors find a long lost manuscript by Euripides, a discovery that will turn them into academic superstars...and then they lose it! In a panic one cries out to the ancient Greek Gods of Comedy to save them...and the gods actually appear! A classic farce ensues as a pair of screwball dieties encounter the carnal complexity of Ivy League college coeds, campus capers, and conspicuous consumption. We attended this fun little "romp" at Curtain Players on March 26 matinee.
