I know we don't know each other much as I have been away for a year until May, and even now I am not fully present, but reading your journaling, I aim SO glad you are taking control and not biting your tongue anymore....
Not sure how old your kids are, but when situations like this happen, ir doesn't matter if they don't see you arguing ever.... the kids, m whatever their ages, feel the way you are frustrated, maybe they don't verbalise, but I know for sure it is always, always better for us to be brave and take control, if we are happy, your kids will feel that and life will evolve in a much positive manner....Hope you can make the trop you had to cancel, and that you can have all the happiness.... really really despise the kind of person who feels the need to control even when they have no reason to do so .... All the best, and the page is gorgeous visually too... love your patterns and the green lifts the mood, beautiful clusters, thanks for sharing !!!!!

I agree with MrsPeel - good advice there. You have the kids the majority of the week. Don't feel bad by saying NO to his family outings. You are not obligated to do that anymore. Let him take the kids by himself. Have your own time to do what you want. Enough is enough NOW. I can hear it in your journalling. Value yourself enough to be strong and stand up for what you want. Just say no. He's acting like he's still a couple. You're co-parents. You don't have to go to things on the weekend with him. Ugh, I'm frustrated FOR you. Big hugs and thanks for playing along with the summer games. You certainly rocked this one.
