Mainly because I am ancient, but also because I spent from birth to 8 years old having major surgery
I can't remember lots of titles from my toddlers years, I remember the records I had, but I do have a vivid memory of my dad every year, just before we moved up to the mountains, would take me to the book stores and let me choose 12 books which were meant to last a year...I read them all in the summer. There are more titles here ion the page that applied more to teenage years, and also there are so many marvelous stories that one page wont cut it.... but here are some of the titles that marked my childhood and teenage years.
