I have to work the long weekend so DH took DS camping with the In-Laws. It's my first time having DS be away from me over night! The second part of the journaling are lyrics from Al Greens' "Ain't No Sunshine"

Journaling:
Sept 1-3, 2007
Camping with Dad
First Trip without Mommy

Ain’t no sunshine when he’s gone. It’s not warm when he’s away. Ain’t no
sunshine when he’s gone and he’s always gone too long anytime he goes away.
Ain’t no sunshine when he’s gone and this house just ain’t no home anytime
he goes away. Ain’t no sunshine when he’s gone, only darkness every day.
Ain’t no sunshine when he’s gone. It’s not warm when he’s away. Ain’t no
sunshine when he’s gone and he’s always gone too long anytime he goes away.

Erin, this is so beautiful! I love the pics in the letters and the curled pages at the bottom. Perfect song for journaling!! I'm going to keep that in the idea part of my brain for later!

Simply A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!! I so love the idea of cutting the pics in the shape of letters. Everything mixes so well. Looks like a layout right of of a magazine.
