Journaling:"The moment you were born, I fell in love with you. I saw your little scrawny body and those precious eyes that look just like your Dad. I remember saying, “We love you Baby Trey!” The doctor let Richard cut the cord. Then, they put you on my chest. I got to hold you so close. Then, they whisked you away and gave you a bath to get all that ‘chessy stuff’ off of you. Then, they put you in the warmer for a little while while they stitched me up. Your Gram and your Dad talked to you while you were in the warmer. The moment you would hear their voice, you would settle down. After I was all covered up and somewhat cleaned up, they brought you back to me. I got to hold you and actually got to nurse you a little. It took you a little longer to get the hang of it than your sister. But, you did great and we created a bond in those quiet moments that will last for years to come. After you had been fed, we called in the rest of the family and we had serious picture taking time. We took photos with everyone there (Grampa Bailey, Gram, Grampy, Uncle Matt, Dad and Me. We also took pictures with the doctor that delivered you, Dr. Lowe, and the nurses that helped me deliver you, Lori Rowley. and Christy Goodnight."
