We loved Dolby’s personality so much that when we were ready to adopt another kitty we went searching for Burmese breeders again. We found a little champagne girl at the Okey Dokey Cattery in Oklahoma, just over the Arkansas border. The first picture the breeder sent won my heart and that of the kids. For some reason the name Ellie came to my mind when I first saw her. It took quite a bit of convincing to get Joe to agree though! We made a weekend out of picking her up, stopping in Little Rock, AR to go to the Science Center there and staying overnight in a hotel before picking Ellie up on Sunday morning. She was scared to death, coming straight out of the comfort of the nursey to our arms, but she faired the 8 hour drive back to Nashville just fine in our laps. Aug 16, 2009
