This Christmas, Santa brought Macy a beautiful ballerina dress and a tiara. Macy had been asking for one for months, and Santa heard the call. Today, she and I were dancing together in her room with her dress, taking pictures, practicing our spins and pirouttes, when Macy gave me a big hug and said “Mom, someday my prince will come.” It was so sweet, and I just smiled at her. She then preceded to tell me how she was going to “get” her prince. 1) Go to the ball in her dress. 2) Put on her lip gloss. 3) Dance the pretty dance with the prince. 4) Give him a big kiss! Fortunately, daddy is still the prince and I am apparently the wicked witch. We obviously need to take a break from the princess movies.
