Why do my kids insist on picking their noses and eating their boogers?

Dear Grossed Out in PA,
I hate to tell you this, but it is all your fault. It stems back to the dinner table. Those meals you make that are healthy and include vegetables – well your kids just don't like them. Remember that stand off last week you had with the oldest one. She refused to eat what you made for dinner – so you sent her to bed without eating. Well, you see, she was hungry that night. So her finger just happened to make it's way into her nose and pluck out a nice juicy booger. She was so hungry she just had to eat it! Two kids, with 2 noses, and ten fingers each - makes for lots of yummy booger treats. They'll pass on grilled chicken, steamed veggies, and rice – but offer them boogers and you will be the best mom ever! So I suggest you embrace your erroneous ways and serve them what they want for dinner.
