Poem reads:
Once upon a time,
There were two babies born in ‘79.
Even though miles separated them,
They eventually met and thought each other
To be very kind.

It was a ski trip through friends at college,
In the Winter of ‘98,
That Chris and Jackie took a liking
and were then hard to separate.

Jackie went to Ferris State University,
And Chris attended Michigan State.
Weekends were spent together,
from ’98 to ‘01.
And then Chris asked her to be with
Him forever because he loved her a ton.

It was the night of her college graduation.
A night she’ll never forget!
For he asked her under the star-filled sky
A moment that made him sweat!

They went to Big Boy in celebration
And had each a chocolate shake.
Then went back to the house
And stayed awake...

The wedding was in Saint Johns, Michigan
On May 25, 2002.
It was held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church
A fairy-tale so true.
