As I look back at this photograph tears fill my eyes again. You were mere seconds old....still attached to the cord which supplied you with life for 9 months. It was the first time I held you in my arms, though I had held you in my heart for years before. As I looked into your tiny face, for a brief moment, time stood still. You were all that mattered in this world and in those seconds, my heart became yours forever.
