Well this photo is certainly sugar free !!!
We had a REALLY bad day on Friday and when I grabbed the camera to shoot here and now... this is what I got. Real life all right lol.
I am hoping that one day I can look back at this and laugh ...

Journaling reads:I wish I could say that I don’t see this face very often, but the truth is that I do. Some days I see it way more than I would like. You can be the sweetest, most loving little girl and then you can be like this. Stubborn, determined, infuriating and impossible to reason with. You yell and scream, pout, hunch your shoulders and stomp off. Nothing that we do or say makes a difference. I don’t like this attitude, I don’t like seeing you so angry with us and the rest of the world. There are days when I wonder where I am going wrong, when I worry that you will never learn to control your feelings. I am trying to teach you that you cannot always get your own way and that you have to use words to explain when something is wrong. Its not easy, we have good days and bad days. My hope is that with time the good will outnumber the bad, because we really could do with a little less of this attitude.

Jodie, this is wondefully real! I promise you will look back at this and laugh. My daughter who is 11 now was born stubborn and determined. She was a very challenging toddler and it took years to channel that energy but things are so much easier now. We still have our moments but the good days far outweigh the bad. You'll get there too, just hang in there.

Oh Jodie, i am right there with you sweetie. My little gabe has an attitude and temper that just won't quit, so i can totally relate to you. Tehy tell me they will outgrow it but it can't be soon enough!

Well, my son is only 8 months old yet (my first child), but since I am a teacher by proffession I too have met children with a lot of attitude and more energy than themselves or I could handle...I'ts tough but hang in there - changes will come, I promise.
