Dani Mogstad: It's Elementary
Pea Jack & Jane, Pea Jeannie Script
Journaling: We really don’t have a reason to buy school supplies, as none of the kids are in school yet. Anna is preschool age, but since she’ll be a late starter in school because of her birthday she’s not going to preschool out of the house this year. Grace is still too young for pre-school, and Brody definitely doesn’t need school supplies.
However, that didn’t stop me from stocking up on a few things. I mean really, who can pass up a deal on Crayola markers, for a dollar? Or crayons for less than that. Seriously, do you know what a 3 and 1/2 year old and a 1 and a 1/2 year old can do to a crayon?! Talk about destroy them, and it doesn’t take long, just one sitting. That’s okay though, we’ve found a craft project to make with all those left over pieces, if only I could make it to the craft store or somewhere other than our little town for supplies. Then there’s the notebooks, all sizes and colors, for someone with a notebook collection, it’s like heaven. I currently have 9, yes that's NINE unused spiral bound notebooks sitting on my desk, and I’m tempted to buy more! I guess you could say that I have a school supply obsession.
