The longer I live in Florida, the more I have to admit to myself that I miss the north. I miss the changing landscapes. The blue-light of the early evening. The crisp, cold air that bites your noise when you breathe. Florida is nice and all, but it’s dull. Lifeless. Boring even. And if I admit it . . . I am happy with the snow, the cold, the sweaters and hot tea. Call me crazy, it’s true.
