After a long winter, I long to see the first signs of spring. Growing up, the first flowers of spring in my Mom’s garden were the crocus. The first flowers that Sean and I planted in our new yard were tulips, which are his favorite flowers, and crocus. The crocus aren’t the only early flowers in our yard, though. We also have some cheerful yellow daffodils, purple vinca, and pretty little blue flowers grow in the lawn.
